For anyone that lives in New Jersey, "The Shore" is 141 miles long beginning in Perth Amboy and ending at Cape May Point (or beginning at Cape May Point and ending in Perth Amboy-depending on how you look at it.

It's the least uncommon to come across a beach wedding here in our state. But, with something uncommon, comes something spectacularly unique in each couple that says "I do" in front of an ocean scape.

2017-12-19_0118.jpg

Alyssa and Gustavo were married on a beautiful October day, underneath a gazebo in Beach Haven, New Jersey. Both families merged as one as everyone sat among one another with the sweet salt air gently blowing through. Alyssa and Gustavo are the sweetest of couples with friends and family beautifully matching both of their lovely personalities. The wedding scheme and style was all things that encompassed beach wedding, Autumn wedding. With romantic shades of blue and hints of deep oranges and pinks; each color enveloped the bridal party and soon-to-be husband and wife perfectly.

The reception was held at Antoinetta's Restaurant where everyone dined and danced, laughed and embraced, celebrated and made new memories. I absolutely loved photographing everyone and watching two families join together-it's a most beautiful feeling. A feeling that I have the honor of experiencing with every wedding I photograph. I loved the attention to detail especially with their wedding cake and the cake topper that said "Fall in Love". So sweet!

I will never get tired of capturing weddings along "The Shore"-it's a piece of my life that will always be apart of me. Born and raised along a strip of an island with the sounds of seagulls, the smell of salt water and the feeling of sand between my toes will forever keep me in love. Now, just add an insanely happy and in love couple to that mix and I literally have the best job ever.

I couldn't have been happier that Alyssa and Gustavo chose me as their wedding photographer. They are truly a special couple that adores one another in such a way, you can't help but feel light and elated to be around them.

Here's to forever, Alyssa & Gustavo-

If you want to talk about stylish, simplistic, romantic weddings-let's talk about Stephanie and Chris' wedding. Absolutely breathtaking. Their day started with themselves and their parties getting ready in two of the most beautiful, modern designed homes in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Asbury Park has amazing homes throughout the town, but the two that Stephanie and Chris had selected were so incredibly dreamy. Definitely a photographer's dream. So much warm, natural light and tied perfectly into getting married in Asbury Park, as well.

2017-12-19_0053.jpg
2017-12-19_0056.jpg

Stephanie's dress was out of this world. It was the perfect cut for her-a low back, semi-mermaid styled dress that laid on her beautifully and gave off this summer, beach wedding energy that was wispy and whimsical. Chris and his groomsmen looked handsome in their tan suits with fresh Adidas that was gifted to all of them, by Chris. I thought that was a nice gesture and definitely added to the already awesome style of the guys.

2017-12-19_0057.jpg

Out of all of the beautiful, perfect parts of their wedding-what I loved most was the personable touch of their wedding bands (and engagement ring!). Stephanie's very dear friend, Lauren Priori, owns a private jewelry business in Philadelphia named: L. Priori. Each piece was custom made for both Stephanie and Chris and I adored that added touch. Lauren's jewelry collections are mind blowing and you should have a look whenever you can-classic romanticism at it's finest.

As Chris and Stephanie said "I do", I will never forget photographing them and taking notice to how perfect the sky was. It was this soft pinkish-purple color and it was exactly the sky you would want on your wedding day-I don't stop snapping photos of the two of them-it all looked so breathtaking.

Stephanie and Chris had their reception at Tim McLoone's Supper Club on Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park. It has amazing oceanfront views throughout the place accompanied by a 1940's feel to the decor and general tone-perfect for Stephanie and Chris' wedding reception. Toward the end of the night, they had fireworks and everyone got to watch them together and enjoy them. It was truly a magical day and night for Stephanie, Chris and all of their friends and family.

Sterling Ballroom Wedding Photographer| Tinton Falls, New Jersey

2017-12-19_0028.jpg

On a cold day in January of 2017, I had the pleasure of photographing Scott and Kristin's engagement shoot, so it say that I was excited to photograph their wedding 7 months later, is a total understatement.

Scott and Kristin were married at the Sterling Ballroom in Tinton Falls, New Jersey in front a wonderful group of friends and family. I love working with the Sterling Ballroom because they really know how to host and organize a gorgeous wedding- they also work well with wedding photographer and other vendors-very accommodating.

2017-12-19_0024.jpg

Kristin and Scott's wedding was your beautifully themed romantic day-every detail and piece was romantic and vintage in nature-clean style and simple tones. Everyone looked stunning and dapper. Kristin and Scott are another one of my favorite couples because of their sense of humor and how well they compliment each other. Plain and simple, they are by far the cutest of couples. And their friends and family are just as amazing--funny, great senses of humor, loving.

2017-12-19_0023.jpg
2017-12-19_0026.jpg

I love, love, love when a couple makes the decision to do "first looks"-it's a chance for the soon-to-be husband and wife to have a private moment with no distractions. They get to take a moment to look at each other, take it all in, sneak a kiss, shed a tear, say something meaningful and funny. So when Kristin and Scott had their first look, the intimacy of the moment is what makes my job so worth it.

2017-12-19_0038.jpg
2017-12-19_0039.jpg

Kristin and Scott's reception was lovely. The lighting was beautiful, their floral arrangements and place settings weren't overwhelming, which I like. It's nice to be able to appreciate the wedding details throughout the reception when there isn't too much going on. It's always best to select your favorite wedding inspirations and make it your own-and that's exactly what Kristin and Scott did.

It was definitely a magical day for both Scott and Kristin, their family and their friends and I couldn't be happier to be a part of it.

Here's to forever, Kristin and Scott-

I had an engagement session with Christina and Johnny back in January while Christina was home to celebrate the holiday's with her family and fiance. She was living in Ohio while she was doing her residency all while wedding planning and her and I became really good friends. Christina and Johnny even brought their fur baby, Stella, along for the engagement shoot as well and she was such a peach!

2017-10-13_0041.jpg

Christina and Johnny's wedding was a perfectly constructed romantic Summer wedding. Every detail screamed a June wedding and I loved it! Christina's dress has got to be one of the sweetest dresses I've seen in a long time and I absolutely loved the pop of color blue shoe! The tone of blue hues and sunflowers completed the tone from the groomsmen's ties, to the table settings at the reception.

2017-10-13_0047.jpg

Their ceremony at the church was elegant and romantic and when we arrived at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge, I caught the feels. Everything flowed so sweetly together. AND just for the record, any wedding that has The Motones playing at their reception, is a guaranteed good time. The Motones are probably the best wedding bands EVER and I was so excited I got to see them live and in action at Christina and Johnny's wedding. They were mind blowing.

2017-10-13_0058.jpg

The night ended with a 'smores bonfire AND a pork roll sandwich truck for a hot breakfast "sammie" when you left. NEW JERSEY STYLE. It was by far one of the sweetest weddings I've attended. I'm so blessed to have Christina as such a good friend and I look forward to it blossoming in the years to come!

Laurita Winery Wedding Photographer| New Egypt, NJ

2017-08-20_0040.jpg

I love Matthew and Heather's engagement story. Matt got down on one knee and asked the important question after he and his soon-to-be fiance crossed the finish line after a 26.2 mile marathon in Disney. How he managed to keep the ring in his pocket the entire time is beyond me, but he did and she said yes!

2017-08-20_0030.jpg
2017-08-20_0031.jpg

They both planned a beautifully elegant ceremony and reception at Laurita Winery, surrounded by views of sprawling land and a breathtaking sunset as they both made their vows to one another.

I was in awe of the uniqueness of the bridesmaid's dresses, among so many other things. Each lady of the bride wore a dress in the same color scheme, yet showcased their personal aesthetic by individual dress styles! It was creative and tied into the romanticism perfectly; the husband-to-be and his fellow groomsmen all donned light, yet dapper suits. Everyone paired exquisitely.

2017-08-20_0024.jpg
2017-08-20_0039.jpg

Another sweet detail were the flowers! Heather is allergic to authentic ones, she ordered from EcoFlowers and her crafty-creative bridesmaid arranged them all and they were too beautiful for words. They also gave out succulents as their wedding favors; succulents or any kind of cacti for the matter are perfect for anyone who suffers from pollen allergies. Just know that there are so many other options for floral arrangements and gifts other than silk ones.

2017-08-20_0033.jpg

As I walked throughout their ceremony and reception, capturing every memory of their day they could ever think of, I had the exciting moment of working along with one of my favorite vendors: Bahr Cinematography! I always feel wonderful when clients take my advice and choose to hire one of my preferred vendors, because we all work so well together and I feel the photos definitely reflect that.

Engagement Session: Danielle & Ray| Double Trouble State Park

2017-08-20_0058.jpg

Engagement sessions are so much fun, as a photographer, and I'll tell you why. You really get to photograph a couple in their purest stage of love and happiness. Two people have decided to make a lifelong commitment to one another and I get the amazing opportunity to capture that in a series of blissfully happy and romantic photographs.

2017-08-20_0054.jpg

I must admit that I'm partial to Danielle and Ray because...Ray's my cousin. Of course I was ecstatic when I was asked to shoot their engagement session (as well as their wedding) and I absolutely loved the location they chose. What I loved even more though, beyond the location and the act of taking the photos, was that I was encapsulating how much in love my cousin is with his fiance, Danielle.

2017-08-20_0056.jpg

Danielle is probably one of the nicest people I have met. She's the type of person who would do anything for you, she has a huge heart, a beaming personality. Completely understandable why Ray asked her to marry him, I wonder how he got so lucky and I mean that in the best possible way. Ever since the day Danielle said "yes", Ray has been completely different-on cloud 9, the happiest he's ever been and that makes my heart practically explode.

I love working with people like Renata and Mark. I knew that any couple who would have a pie bar at their wedding (obvs) and pork roll sandwiches (How very New Jersey of them!) as parting gifts, would be an absolute joy to work with.

I met them for breakfast for our consultation, where I discovered how well their personalities and sense of humor meshed together. They were a couple destined for each other. I was so comfortable with them that I could not wait for their wedding day.

2017-08-20_0006.jpg

Renata was every bit as breathtaking and beautiful on their long awaited day. She looked radiant as ever in her beautiful gown and pearl encrusted Converse. I loved that we did a first look before the ceremony, it was so worth it to capture Mark's face as he saw his future wife on their wedding day.

2017-08-20_0010.jpg

Renata and Mark's wedding took place at the Carriage House, and was one of the most beautiful winter weddings I've had the pleasure of shooting. Despite the cold month, everything about the wedding was warm and cozy. There is a kind of old world charm there that makes it such a pretty place to be for an event as intimate as a wedding.

2017-08-20_0007.jpg

Many of the decorations were made by Gammy, Renata's grandmother! She even knitted shrugs for the bridal party to wear. Their families and guests were so welcoming and friendly - Gammy even had me sit and eat pie with her.

The ceremony made me cry like a baby, of course! Renata shared a dance with not only Gammy, but with her new father-in-law. It was so sweet to witness the new bonds forming between these two families.
